Project 2



On this project, it seemed to be more confusing than the first one. I had a little bit of trouble. First i started off looking for a hip-hop sort of beat. Then it turned into kind of a techno sort of thing which is fine. I added simple sounds like the kick and chopped it up to get the sound in the beginning. I did that with every sound i used. i hope you like it!

    i really like your loop. i can feel the hip-hop beat and also is it a horn that you have chopped? i really like the begining with the multiple kick. i like the certain sound in the middle of the loop.

    I really like the sound effect that you used because it adds a lot of spice to the beat. You definetly got the techno sound and thought it sounded great. I was also wondering if you chopped the horn? Nice job and once again..I love the sound effect.

    I like this a lot. It definitely has a techno feel to it. Everything sounds good the way you chopped it, and the fast kicks at the beginning really add something. The bouncy sound that comes in around the 7 second mark is awesome. The only thing I might change is putting some kind of sustained note in there to make it little less choppy. Nice job.

    I think you would be a lot less confused/frustrated if you used some synths rather than samples. Short samples (like the horn hit)are hard to manipulate via the chop or any other tool.
