Project 7

Here it is. Project number 7. With this project we had to make something similar to project 6 with the synth, but all on our own. We had to make a song using synth and putting that through the riff machine. I chose a standard saw wave, i put it through the riff machine and found a riff i liked. i added some drums to it. But it didnt sound like the pitch i was look for so i went back into the synth and riff machine and edited the pitch to a sine wave instead of a saw. It sounded just what i was looking for. I stayed with the riff machine pattern it gave me earlier because i liked it. I added a nice beat in pattern one and let the beat build. The main climax in my song is deffinitely the second synth. Right after the first synth ended i added a little bit of vocals. Just a guy saying, "That was cool." and used it to really start out my second synth. It seems like it grew from the first synth into what it is now. To me thats where it really picks up. Throughout this song i mainly used the KIck, Clap, Hat, and Snair. I used those through patterns 1-4. I made each drum loop i made to just the sound i wanted it to fit with my song and, i think it came out great. It was deffinitely one of my favorites. I hope you all feel the same way.

Today i added a bass line to my synth im ready to upload it but i dont have enough time so i will make sure i post it next class

today we came back from break and i changed my synth in pattern one to a more up beat kind of sound in the riff machine. i also added a little vocal to make it sound a little cooler. overall i am happy with my results so far and i think i will be ready to post it soon.

today i am still working on my project 7. i didnt add much i just made the peice that i already made sound a little better. i added a higher pitch bass and it sounds a lot better than before. it will be done soon. i hope u all will like it.

Today i got started on project 7. I found a dound in sytrus and put it in the piano roll. Then i used the riff machine and it gave me quite a good sound. then i added starndard beats like kick snair hat, est. i added a bass but i think it is too low so i will change that bass to a higher note next time.

Today i commented on my classmates posts then mr. rabuse introduced project 7 to us. i think i will do well on the project but he said that out file is only worth 50 points and our post is worth 150 points. so i'll have to be a little bit more descriptive of what i did in this project

Project 5

With this project, project 5, i had a little trouble saving so i actually did the project 3 times. which was kind of frustrating. I finally did it a third time and saved it correctly. so that is why it is so late. But with this project, we had to use vocodex which changes the pitch of your sound. Alsowe had to make a loop with it, whichi added standard drums, a turntable and a bass to even it all out. i am happy with my work but dissapointed i had to do it three time. well i hope you all enjoy!
